About Lizzy and Chenza Seda
Lizzy and Chenza Seda have been serving and ministering people for over 10 years. After completing a six-month internship at Friendship Church in Minnesota, they returned to Brno, Czech Republic, and together they were part of the team that planted a new church. Today, that church – CityHouse Brno – has become one of the fastest-growing churches in the Czech Republic, with around 350 people attending Sunday services.
Chenza serves as a pastor, investing deeply in key leaders and teaching God’s Word across the Czech Republic. He is passionate about strengthening the local church and equipping the next generation. He is a pastor of Community and Pastoral Care. He regularly speaks at weddings and youth events. He is frequently invited to preach at pastoral gatherings and conferences for church leaders. Chenza has also organized retreats for Housetalk small groups and their leadership teams. Every summer, he serves by preaching at various church camps.
Lizzy has a special heart for building a strong community at Cityhouse, mothers with young children and for the visual life of the church. She hosts women’s brunches, helps with the women’s conference, and also serves in children’s ministry by helping at church sleepovers and kids’ events. Together, they are raising their two daughters, Amy (7) and Lillien (3.5).
Lizzy’s Vision
Lizzy believes that God has called them as a family not only to build the local church, but also to actively reach people who would not normally step into a church building. She lives this out in everyday life – connecting with young people in the library, meeting moms at the playground, and building relationships with business owners, inviting them into church. In this way, she helps create a welcoming and spiritually vibrant community where people can encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and discover their calling.
She believes that ministry is not only about Sunday gatherings, but about faithfully investing in people throughout everyday life – especially young people with mental health issues, families with kids, and those searching for hope and belonging.
